dorkfysh's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- good news!! I am bursting!!!! The kid got into the good school! I don't have the official paperwork yet, but the teacher called me to ask some questions today and at the end of the conversation she said "See you in the fall!" We met this teacher at the open house last fall. She had her 8th grade daughter there who bonded with the kid over a mutal hate of McDonald's. This means my kid will not have to go to middle school. This means she will be in the same school until she is 18. This means that she will meet more freaky kids like herself and won't be the weird kid in school unless she really wants to be. Right now she is just expressing herself and wearing what she likes and talking about the things she is interested in. I'm not so sure that she tries to be a big freak. I think she just is. My big freaky beautiful genius of a child is getting what she needs.
