dorkfysh's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- just an entry My sweet child took $2 to Scrap last week and got a whole load of loot. She bought enough fabric to make herself a really cool shirt. It's very deconstructed and like Japanese designers from the 80's. She also bought a hunk of cardboard with a glossy shark pattern on it and sewed pictures of fish and a frog to it. It's the coolest thing. I love the stuff that she makes. She makes tiny villages out of cardboard and builds forts and makes these intense multimedia artworks that blow my mind. My kid is really the coolest person I know. She's leaving Sunday to spend a week with my mom and the break will be nice, but I will miss her like crazy. I hope my mom can see what an amazing person this kid is becoming. She will never let anyone push her around and she's not afraid to be herself.
